Customer Service Representative

They are looking for a Customer Services Representative to support their team in Houston, Texas.

As the Customer Service Representative, you will work as part of a team responsible for customer inquiries, processing customer purchase orders, providing technical support and sales quotations to customers. You will also support the Sales and Operations Teams to ensure the delivery of first-class customer service throughout the customer contact experience.

What experience is essential?

• You will have at least 2 years’ experience providing customer service in an office environment.
• You will have experience of working as part of a team.
• You will be proficient in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office.

What additional experience is preferred?

• Experience working with technical products and understanding the energy industry is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred.

Your responsibilities as the CSR will include:

• Developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships to achieve high customer service levels.
• Delivering excellent customer service in line with the quality of the company brand.
• Ensure all customer inquiries are processed efficiently and correctly to meet customer expectations.
• Communicate commercial, product, and order information effectively to customers.
• Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to support shipping and invoicing customer orders.
• Support the Sales Team by providing information to support customer sales.
• Liaise with the relevant corporate departments, including shipping, customer service, and accounting.
• Ensure that any customer complaints are adequately investigated, and swift action taken to resolve problems.
• Develop competence in using the company business systems such as, but not limited to, Windows, Microsoft Office, and the company ERP system.
