WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Our Hybrid schedule requires 3 days onsite (Tuesday-Thursday, 8am-5pm) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday, 8am-5pm). This role requires some Mondays onsite for New Hire Orientation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

At The AMES Companies, our Human Resources Representative is a focused and detail-oriented HR professional with experiencing in general office administration, assisting with various aspects of Human Resources records and information management, and collaborating with the greater HR team to achieve organizational goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to general employee questions and direct to appropriate HR specialists as needed.
  • Update employee information and records in HRIS system or other business applications.
  • Digital archiving of employee records.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality on Team Member issues & guest relations.
  • Maintain organizational charts.
  • Create and work with HR reports and metrics to provide key HR indicators.
  • Assist Team Members with basic UKG questions, passwords reset, etc.
  • Point of contact for facility’s HR vendors and contractors.
  • Organize and coordinate HR and company related events and meetings.
  • Coordinate service awards, flowers delivery, and other employee benefits.
  • Order & stock HR supplies and forms as needed.
  • Process HR mail and coordinate mass mailings as needed.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive work environment by participating in employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma, or GED Certification.
  • 2 Years experience in an HR Administrator or Coordinator role.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • UKG Pro experience preferred, or experience with comparable Human Resources Information System.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong attention to detail, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively in a changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment & maintain regular attendance.
