Overview:
This is an on-site role located in Knoxville, TN.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about human resources and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Provide support in all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS system.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews.
- Assist with talent management initiatives, including employee development, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions.
- Support the administration of benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
- Assist with the implementation of HR programs and initiatives to drive employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. (Preferred, not required)
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of employee relations principles.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Starting wage is $18.00 per hour plus, depending on experience and qualifications
