If you are looking to further your sales career within a fast-growing and MultiTechnology SaaS platform, then this Business Development Manager role is for you. In this position, you must have a breadth of knowledge to support the sales cycle process, be committed to hiring, developing, and retaining top talent, and have a desire to lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to execute goals. This role will be in the office five days/week.
What You Will Do:
• Hire, onboard, and train the Business Development team.
• Comfortable in leading cold call training sessions.
• Act as a coach and mentor for the business development team.
• Educate reps on the complex sales cycles, including prospecting, qualifying, strategizing, and closing transactions.
• Strategize engagement plans for key prospects.
• Manage team-level sales activities through Salesforce reporting.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance business development strategies.
• Collaborate across departments to help develop growth and product knowledge (Marketing, Product, etc.)
• Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
• Continuously seek ways to optimize and improve business development processes and strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and partnerships.
• Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with partners and industry group contacts to facilitate lead generation and brand awareness. • Facilitate webinars with industry partners.
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software sales management.
• Experience managing a business development team.
• Successfully sold enterprise software to Fortune 1000 companies.
• Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on building relationships with clients.
• Closed complex sales cycles in competitive markets.
• Partner Relationship Management
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or related field.
