Department Overview

The Unified Communications team has a mission to become the leader in creating a highly scalable software platform and communication applications for first responders and industrial workgroups. Our customers rely on these solutions to run their critical business operations in the public safety, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors. Every single day, we are shaping the future of mobile workgroup solutions for public safety and industrial users worldwide leveraging Motorola's rich heritage in this space. Our solutions include broadband Push to Talk (PTT), multimedia messaging, location based collaboration, video streaming with full interoperability with land mobile radio (LMR) systems. The products include client apps on Android, iOS, and Windows. Our backend software can be deployed On-Prem, in private data centers, or in a public cloud infrastructure.

Job Description

Are you a business operations / change management professional with software project management experience looking to support a strategic, operational team? Do you have experience providing cross-functional program / initiative leadership in the communications industry? If so, Motorola Solutions has a great opportunity for you!

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

In this role you will be responsible for:

* Lead change management in the UC organization, drives a systematic approach to dealing with the transition or transformation of an organization's goals, processes or management tool technologies.

* In charge of implementing strategies for effecting change, controlling change and helping people to adapt to change

* Develop and execute Governance processes that meet business needs across the organization, including standards and procedures for operations governance.

* Identify, track and analyze key metrics and organization level action items for the UC's operating effectiveness and quality based on the Governance process.

* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations efficiency.

* Coordinate with stakeholders and management in integrating business processes throughout the organization.

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills

The ideal candidate has:

* 10 years of experience in the Communications or IT industry.

* 10 years of experience in a business operations and/or change management role or equivalent experience.

* Having software project management experience is highly desirable.

* Familiarity with SAFe and Agile practice is a plus
