ARKHAUS Miami, the world’s first floating member’s only club is hiring an EXECUTIVE CHEF.
Objective: The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, logistics, cooking and presentation.
We are looking for someone who possesses strong leadership skills and has a strong sense of hospitality. Hands-on management experience is a must and we prefer someone who pays attention to details. Experience operating a “scratch kitchen” is a plus as well as familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable practices.

Develop and implement menus that align with ARKHAUS' culinary concept.
Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Collaborate with the management team to create and execute catering menus for special events.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations at all times.
Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques to continuously improve menu offerings.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements:
Might occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will spend at least 4 hours plus daily standing or walking.
Preferred Education and Experience
Culinary School Certification.
A minimum of five (5) years of high volume cooking experience in a fine dining environment.
A minimum of (3) years as an Executive Chef in a fine dining environment.
Knowledge of industry trends, menu creation, coaching/training and building teams.
Must have knowledge of a variety of regional cooking styles.
Scratch Kitchen, eco-friendly and sustainable practices are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff.
Extensive knowledge of kitchen management principles and practices.
Proven experience in catering and banquet operations.
Excellent food management skills, including inventory control and cost management.
Proficient in food production techniques, including preparation, cooking, and plating.
Culinary expertise with a creative approach to menu development.
Must be able to work flexible hours and days.
Maritime experience is a plus.
ARKHAUS Miami is situated in Biscayne Bay on multiple maritime vessels, and accessed by tender. You must be okay with being on the water.
