- Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders to ensure accuracy and validity
- Verify and record sales commission payments accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any payment discrepancies or inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable, adhering to established guidelines and best practices
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation of accounts payable and general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with the finance team and provide support during audits
- Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, preferably in a construction or related industry
- Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Salesforce.com is highly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to accurately manage complex financial data
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
