Human Resources Generalist Description

This position will report directly to the Human Resources Manager. This role requires a person with strong, positive communication skills and the ability to work closely within a team and individually. The role also requires a high sense of confidentiality and discretion. The Human Resources Generalist will provide help to employees throughout the company and will have an active role in assisting with various HR, Safety and Legal matters. Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Recruit: You will take the lead in full-cycle recruitment for specialized roles.
• Develop: You will develop enhanced recruitment strategies, improved processes and workflows, build upon and create new policies and procedures.
• Grow: You will build and foster strong relationships with your peers, our managers, candidates, new hires, recruitment partners, and grow your overall capabilities.
• Build: The essence of our strength is integrating the high skills of our people with our fast-paced and rapidly evolving team structures and our technology challenges; you will be a key contributor to building our high-performance organization.
• Compliance: Collaborating with the HR Manager, you will ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations, including but not limited to EEOC, OSHA, MSHA, mandatory training, and more.
• Engage: Youwill have a key role in creating an engaging, fun work environment, including planning employee events, helping with employee communications, and finding new ways to motivate and engage a growing workforce.
• Provide HR assistance to employees and management.
• Generate and Maintain Weekly/Monthly Reports.
• Assist in HR investigations.
• Monitor/maintain Company’s social media platforms.
• Maintain working knowledge of company policies, procedures and benefits.
• Travel to various divisions for Health Fairs, Open Enrolment, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Resources or Management preferred; equivalent experience of 3 years will be accepted.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems required.
• Knowledge of Oracle System preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Highly organized.
• Must be willing to travel
