Sales Manager – AMs

We are seeking a top performing sales leader to join our growing sales department and lead the Account Management team in a brand-new role. The ideal candidate will be process focused account management professional who can implement and drive repeatable client engagement tasks to ensure the continued growth of our customer base through upgrades, cross sell and client retention.

As the Sales Manager of Account Management, you will be leading a team of 6 AMs as part of the critical mission to onboard, support, and manage key Agility clients. This role reports directly to the Title to be added who sits on the Agility Leadership Team. This position will be based in Denver, CO in a remote capacity to begin with a future state of Hybrid in Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and motivate the Account Managers performance against KPIs and quota attainment
• Ensure accurate forecasting through pipeline inspection, deal strategy review and coaching
• Provide 1x1 and team level general sales strategy, call planning, time utilization, sales process, product offerings, and value propositions
• Aid team members in analyzing their territory’s market potential to identify upgrade potential through reports and dashboard in Salesforce and Salesloft
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and maintain retention
• Create superior client experience focused on the timeliness of best method of follow-up, responsiveness, and setting clear expectations with client engagements
• Retain and grow existing client subscriptions by analyzing business needs and offering appropriate upgraded services
• Perform white space analysis of our customer base and identify industry trends to sell into
• Identify potential segmentation challenges and other areas of opportunity across the customer base
• Proactive communication on the performance of the team
• Ensure proper execution and implementation of any new key initiatives

Qualifications:

• BS/BA or equivalent professional experience
• 5 years of experience in B2B environment with preference for account management / customer success
• 3 years of experience directly managing a sales team with quota responsibilities
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to problem solve with the input and guidance from others
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to interface and coordinate work effectively with intracompany departments
• Past experience with business continuity, and disaster recovery concepts is a plus
