Operations Manager
Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics & Asset Management, the Operations Manager is an individual with a strong bias towards proactive planning and organization with a solid warehousing & logistics track record. At a site level, the functional areas of oversight include equipment storage/warehousing, transportation/logistics, 3rd party equipment & services coordination. You will use a high level of project planning, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination to drive plans from the start through completion; you will also use your excellent communication skills as you work with various teammates across Agility Recovery to fulfill customer support needs.
In this role, you will:

• Location-specific day-to-day logistics activities in the assigned Agility facility, including operational elements such as building & equipment maintenance, ensuring asset readiness, and maintaining landlord relations.
• Active contributing member of the logistics team, including management of a contracted pool of third-party resources including mobile equipment, fuel vendors, temporary labor agencies, data wiring subcontractors, transportation/logistics companies, and generator providers and ensure that all required resources are strategically and optimally engaged for customer testing and recovery support.
• Plan and coordinate resource needs for the recovery services delivery team supporting customer testing and recovery support activities to ensure customer and Agility success.
• Activities include directed efforts to customer locations and reverse logistics required to reposition equipment.
• Provide adequate coverage for all service delivery requirements. On-call support equals 24x7x365 coverage for site-specific customer deployment requests
• Deploy comprehensive site maintenance/repairs on all Agility Recovery assets (includes company mobile fleet)
• Cost control through ensuring management of reoccurring expenses is within budgeted guidelines
• Participating in customer site tours, pre-sales calls, and providing sales support as needed
• Be an active, hands-on member of the team; as comfortable working on the floor as behind a desk
• Be intimately involved in evaluating and enhancing current operating processes to ensure adherence to and developing efficiencies
• Be responsiveness to changing priorities, with the ability to refocus and pivot to meet the challenge at hand
• On-call rotation responsibilities. You may also be called upon to assist customers during off-hours, including weekends and holidays.

Functions:

• Coordinate and lead asset repositioning to align with work schedules through scheduling customer activity (testing activities or supporting business recovery)
• As a hands-on person working with the team in all aspects of storage, scheduling, shipping, and receiving performing required monthly and quarterly PMs on Mobile Recovery Centers.
• Site activities: to ensure all site matters are attended to, such as preventative maintenance plans, office supplies order, working with the landlord to resolve issues, etc.
• Inventory Management - ensure inventory controls are adhered to, and cycle counts are achieved
• Cost control through ensuring management of expenditures are within budgeted guidelines

Qualifications:

• 5 years of related operational or logistics experience
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
• APICS and ISM Supply Chain Certifications preferred
• Strong communication experience and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in effectively driving results
• Travel 25% based on business need
