Agape Hospice is currently seeking an onsite highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Portland. This position will head our Human Resources department in Portland and Torrance California.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, based in our office in Portland, Oregon near Washington Square Mall. We are planning to move this July to our new office near Sunnyside Road in Clackamas. And yes, both locations have fantastic parking!
We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 to $120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes;

Responsibilities:
-Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment and selection process.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure proper training and development opportunities are provided.
- Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Human Resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
