•Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations

Responsibilities
•Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's payable accounts efficiently and accurately
•This role involves processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments to vendors
•Works closely with other departments to verify and approve invoices, resolve payment issues, and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
•Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approval, and documentation
•Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
•Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor information
•Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries and issues
•Review and verify expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
•Prepare and process electronic payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers
•Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations
•Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to accounts payable processes
•Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
