WisdomTree is Hiring an Associate Director, Business Development Near New York, NY

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to fill the role of Associate Director, Business Development in our Digital Assets division. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience, possess Series 7 and 63/66 licenses, and demonstrate a keen interest or knowledge in tokenization and blockchain technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identifying, prospecting, leading and winning new business with institutional clients for both B2B and B2B2C opportunities.
  • Relationship management of all new and existing clients, including ownership of commercial strategy, contract negotiations and cross-selling incremental business opportunities.
  • Responsible for positioning/messaging WisdomTree’s digital assets strategy and specific product differentiators with the goal of driving new business and revenue.
  • Strong capital markets or treasury management background with an ability to think creatively on how current processes and strategies can be applied and improve upon with blockchain technology and tokenization of real world assets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities in the realms of tokenization and blockchain technology.
  • Avid interest in blockchain technology, tokenization, crypto, and new, bleeding edge asset classes and technology generally with a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends, competitors, regulations, and emerging technologies
  • Work with product strategy, product development and other internal groups to drive existing products and new product initiatives.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead, with a focus on building and leveraging strong partnerships within the broader team, strong people management skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to manage the end-to-end process for client on-boarding including contract negotiating and fee schedules.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • 5 years of sales experience and a strong understanding of the financial service industry are required.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients as well as key internal teams and personnel.
  • Ability to work independently but understands the team’s common goal.
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Be willing to travel internationally as needed to cultivate client relationships and attend industry events
Preferred Qualifications

$130,000 - $150,000 a year
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as location, role, company, department, experience and individual performance.
