Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will support the HR team in administrative functions and projects, work independently, but foster a team environment and ultimately adding value to the human capital of Weaver Consultants Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage new hire onboarding process and conduct new hire orientation in rotation with HR team members
  • Efficiently maintain all employee benefit data for medical, dental, vision, and other elections from the HRIS into the provider websites and internal tracking system on a daily and consistent basis
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
  • Perform scheduled reporting by report deadlines and ad hoc reporting as requested
  • Process employee changes within the HRIS such as merit increases, status changes, title changes, practice group changes, and name changes
  • Partner with management throughout the performance review cycle to ensure adherence to internal processes
  • Assist with employee relations matters as they arise
  • Manage termination procedures for employees exiting the company
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Maintain all Human Resources, personnel, and medical electronic files efficiently and daily
  • Act as a back-up to the Human Resources Coordinator for various administrative responsibilities such as maintaining the HR pages of the company intranet, running background checks, and benefit bill reconciliation
  • Coordinate special projects as assigned by Human Resources Manager
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Meet deadlines on projects while multi-tasking and working with multiple priority tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • PHR certification is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Data entry experience
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Team player
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
