This role will involve various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new permanent orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.Major responsibilities- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations- Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations- Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Engage with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors- Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures- Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department- Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
