Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst based in Augusta, Maine. This role is centered around an ERP implementation project and will require in-depth business analysis skills and knowledge of systems like Workday, PRISM, and Microsoft Excel. The position involves diagnosing data issues, recommending solutions, and collaborating closely on data conversion rule validation.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor, support, and research data quality and cleanup efforts
Conduct root cause analysis on data issues and facilitate comprehensive solutions
Validate data and manage tickets using platforms like JIRA
Gather, analyze, document, validate, and communicate business requirements effectively
Generate project documentation, such as meeting notes and drafting proposals
Provide general support through testing phases by researching issues and providing guidance on defect resolution
Synthesize multiple sources of data/information and compile into a cohesive presentation
Maintain high quality standards and lead by example in all project activities
Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze data structures, identify data discrepancies, and ensure data integrity
Use Excel proficiently, including features like VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and concatenations.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of three years of experience in a Business Analyst role
Proficiency in Business Analysis is required
Experience with Workday, PRISM, Workday HCM, Workday Payroll is necessary
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
