Ventura Air Services is a privately held 135 Charter Operation based in Farmingdale, New York with a secondary location in Nashville, Tennessee. While holding true to our family-owned roots, core values and mission, Ventura is in the midst of a hyper-growth period. With this growth, Ventura is seeking a VP of People to help lead the growth of the Human Resources department and set the company up for future successes. The VP of People will serve as the leader to champion Ventura's core values culture. This role will develop and lead training in people skills, core skills, equity, and inclusion as a member of the executive leadership. Must be able to cultivate organizational culture within all levels of the organization, striving to innovate and drive positive impact on culture and value to enhance employee experience.Responsibilities:In partnership with strategic leadership and the Human Resources team, develop, deploy, and drive human resource strategies, initiatives, and services to support Venturas goals and cultural objectives in all areas of HR.Coach peers on what great leadership looks like to ensure employees are engaged, recognized, valued, and supported.Play a leadership role in assessing current work environments, identifying desired goals, and leading programs/ initiatives to drive change.Lead career growth planning in all departments, provide learning and development opportunities to employees at all levels.Develop and administer employee and manager performance processes.Manage the HR scorecard and KPIs for self and company by consistently reviewing HR metrics and looking for opportunity areas (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, talent, DEI, hiring, and other key performance indicators as required)Manage growing HR department and provide day-to-day HR administration and operations in a hyper-growth environment. To include but not limited to, payroll, employee relations and investigations, conducting new hire orientations, managing leave audits, 401(k) and workers comp.Benefits Administration & Continual AnalysisRequirements:5 years in a Human Resources role with 2 years as a strategic managerSHRM-CP or SPHR certification (preferred)Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (preferred)Experience managing multi-state HR experience (preferred)Experience working in a privately held in growth mode.Prior experience managing mergers and acquisitions.Compensation Range: $120,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
