We are seeking an Administrative Assistant (Transportation) to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Job title: Administrative Assistant (Transportation)
Classification: Exempt, O/T Ineligible
Salary range: $37,500-$40,000, commensurate with experience

Reports to: Transportation Director
Summary/objective: This position works as a team player to ensure all orders are loaded, tracked and documented in a timely and accurate manner. Tasks will vary dependent upon need, and willingness to be flexible and adapt is necessary.
Essential functions: Administrative Assistants are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day duties of processing orders, tracking, and ensuring all loads and updates are complete and accurate. Administrators also communicate regularly with the buyers and sellers, drivers, and their team.
Competency: Basic math skills, communication skills, and attention to detail are critical to the success of this role.
Supervisory responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory duties.
Work environment: Duties will be performed in a standard office environment. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Physical demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and at times bend, twist, and lift up to 15lbs.
Position type and expected hours of work: This position is full time and will generally work Monday-Friday, 7:30a.m.-4:00p.m. After hours and weekend availability is required.
Travel: No travel is required for this position; however, candidates must have reliable transportation to and from work to ensure punctual and consistent attendance.
Required education and experience: No education is required, but administrative assistant experience is necessary. Qualified candidates must also have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and Outlook.
Preferred education and experience: Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
