Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Position Highlights: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the entire recruitment lifecyle. Working closely with brand/divisional HR Business Partners and hiring managers on a daily basis, you will drive talent attraction campaigns, fill open positions, and employ innovative search strategies to attract and secure top talent, including passive candidates. In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert, consulting with HR Business Partners and hiring teams on candidate market trends and best practices for interviewing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive the recruitment process: Strategically plan and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to craft and implement talent sourcing strategies that consistently produce robust talent pipelines.
  • Candidate sourcing: Engage in multiple talent sourcing options for identified open job requisitions, including identifying both active and passive candidates, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., cold calling, job boards, advertising, database and internet searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and networking and referrals).
  • Conduct intake meetings collaboratively with field HR Business Partners and hiring managers
  • Manage and administer the disposition of candidates and requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Develop knowledge of the home building business (key functions, roles of each dept and position) and culture, to help candidates fully comprehend and embrace potential career opportunities within the Company
  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR business partners
  • Regularly meet via schedule cadence with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to discuss progress re: open positions and candidate status updates
  • Ensure weekly open job log is kept up to date (with input from HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers)
  • Proactively manage expectations of both candidates, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners by ensuring all participants receive a positive experience
  • Generate candidate pipeline for each open position and or future staffing needs to include but not limited to database development, management, and periodic, appropriate touchpoints with candidates
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing, to pipeline management, to offer negotiation (if applicable) and closing
  • Maintain compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process
  • Be a brand ambassador for our Company! Promote our company's brand and positive reputation as an employer of choice through various channels and initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work efficiently under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recruiting/sourcing experience in homebuilding sector required; preferably in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Applicant Tracking System experience required-iCIMS preferred
  • Social media recruitment experience preferred (i.e., LinkedIn)
  • Strong collaboration skills and an outstanding team member
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and frequent interruptions
  • Strong PC skills, primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
