Primary Services is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Houston, TX

Job Description:

A prominent Energy organization is currently seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of requisitions, supporting both corporate and business teams. The ideal candidate will drive the talent acquisition process, implement effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders, hiring managers, and the recruiting team to forecast hiring requirements and develop organization-wide recruiting activities and strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and partner with hiring managers to assess needs, identify key talent, and screen candidates.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract diverse talent and source high-quality candidates.
  • Screen and interview candidates, assessing technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Provide a world-class candidate experience, from offer acceptance to onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on candidates, searches, and recruiting activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and engage in staffing-related activities across the organization.
  • Foster relationships with colleges and professional organizations to attract and recruit diverse candidates.

Requirements:

  • 2 year of corporate recruiting experience across various disciplines, preferably in plant, manufacturing, or industrial industries.
  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans.
  • Proficiency in Boolean search strings and sourcing techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • Resourcefulness and exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate organizational culture and opportunities to candidates.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 20% of the time).

Preferred:

  • 2 years' experience Recruiting with 1 year in a Corporate talent environment
  • 2 years of experience recruiting and sourcing candidates in Sales
  • Prior experience creating and presenting presentations to groups
  • Experience sourcing talent for Manager and Director level positions
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System
