Summary: Position is located onsite in Houston, Texas. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Reporting to the VP of Talent Management , this role will be critical to launching a connected and meaningful Team Member experience that spans our culture and organization. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and model best practices in candidate sourcing, behavioral interviewing, talent assessment tools and talent acquisition technology. This is an onsite position located in the MetroNational Corporate Headquarters in beautiful and vibrant Memorial City, with the opportunity to work remotely on alternate Fridays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR Manager and Hiring Leaders to anticipate and thoughtfully plan for hiring needs and identify key hiring criteria and job responsibilities.
  • Provide Hiring Leader updates regarding open position status, candidate status, and recruiting milestones; maintain regular meeting cadence with Hiring Leaders to drive progress and results.
  • Develop and implement creative, sustainable, and scalable sourcing strategies based on the role, industry standards, market competitiveness and the needs of the organization, including for evergreen roles.
  • Identify and attract new candidates through networking, cold calls, email & text outreach, as well as other more standard types of recruiting methodologies.
  • Source, recommend, and attend a variety of job fairs and recruiting opportunities to generate interest in working at MetroNational.
  • Create and post vacancy advertisements that reflect our MetroNational culture and generate qualified interest.
  • Lead preparation of behavioral interview questions and other hiring and selection materials, including provision of training to Hiring Leaders.
  • Clearly communicate job duties, expectations, company culture and our team member experience to candidates to ensure understanding; serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Screen, interview and assess candidates for further consideration.
  • Manage the interview, assessment, and selection process, while coaching Hiring Leaders on appropriate candidate evaluation.
  • Partner with the MNCares team to provide new Team Members with a thoughtful onboarding experience.
  • Track and analyze talent acquisition and attrition metrics to provide sound business guidance on process and program optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations as well as company policies.
Requirements:

Education and Required Experience:

  • Related bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years talent acquisition experience that includes candidate sourcing, interview, and selection.
  • Significant experience leading talent acquisition projects such as behavioral interviewing, hiring manager training, identifying new sourcing channels and KPI development and tracking.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with an ATS required, Paylocity ATS a plus.
