Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Identifies customers using company database and other NDT & Medical Imaging industry resources. Establishes company contacts through purchasing, quality, NDT, engineering, Medical Imaging or other knowledgeable contacts. Schedules calls on current or perspective customers as a regular routine. Responds to customer phone calls, fax and e-mail inquiries for equipment parts, supplies and accessories. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Proactive point contact for customers 
• Quote follow-up
• Back-up to Customer Care Team & Service Manager
• Phone support for Sales & Service
• Respond to incoming sales calls from customers and calls on customers as needed. 
• Demonstrate products to customers
• Quote equipment and supplies for customers.
• Acts as a customer service representative to ensure quality product(s) and service(s) delivery.
• Responds to customer problems and refers issues to proper resource. 
• Support customer issues including follow up on orders and installations. 
• Enter new customer information and keep existing contacts and information up to date in Sage and CRM. 
• Arranges for and involved with product delivery and installation, where appropriate
• Work with accounting regarding customer’s payment status.
• Evaluate and recommend new products.
• Utilize SAGE100 and CRM for follow up activities.
• Attend and support trade shows.
• Provide Sales Manager with weekly update of activities including customer visits.
• Attend internal company meetings and provide update on inside sales activities.
• Cross train with other team members for backup. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years in an inside sales/customer service role or similar
• Experience in NDT and/or medical imaging industries preferred.
