A community services organization in New York City is actively seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team.
Responsibilities:The HR Generalist will:
- Collaborate with management to create initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Conduct HR training and curriculum
- Proactively consult with department/ program supervisors of designated business units to address their business needs and objectives
- Identify solutions to workplace issues or concerns
- Conduct weekly meetings with respective departments
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Design and implement performance management programs
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Human Resources experience with a focus in HR Training
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- Strong understanding of performance management principles and best practices
- Ability to align HR practices with overall business strategies and objectives
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
