Position Summary

Function as a hands-on HR Professional with a consultative approach to deliver exceptional talent processes and solutions that meet business needs. Partner with leadership and lead HR Business Partners to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR programs and services. Reports to VP Human Resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention. Conduct stay and exit interviews, analyze data and identify trends that inform retention efforts. Coach and influence leaders to enable high performance and engagement.
  • Administer Employee Surveys, including compiling, analyzing, and disseminating results and action plans.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven reporting and analytics to evaluate and elevate the effectiveness of HR programs and processes. Proactively identify and implement process improvements that enhance HR Process efficiency and employee experience.
  • Manage the utilization of the HRIS system (ADP Enterprise) while ensure data integrity. Identify and implement improvements to optimize talent process, efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Assist in implementing performance management processes and systems to drive employee performance and development. Provide guidance and training to managers on performance management best practices. Collaborate with leadership to set performance goals and objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Assist with integrating talent from acquired companies, to include impact analysis and change management.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition in attracting and retaining talent. Conduct benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation. Recommend total rewards strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Lead the development of employee relations practices to promote a high level of employee engagement. Evaluate discipline recommendations for fairness, consistency, and compliance. Coach leadership on performance management technique. Coach and advise HRBPs and Management to ensure Company Policies are consistently adhered to. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. Lead and manage investigations. Recommend appropriate actions based on investigation findings.
  • Facilitate the management of various programs and processes, including Benefits, Worker’s Compensation, DOT Compliance, and Affirmative Action.
  • Manage various programs and processes, including unemployment, FML, Leaves of Absence and Accommodations, background checks, preemployment and reasonable suspicion testing.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Conduct audits and implement best practices. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management and team members accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field. (Required)
  • Graduate degree in human resources, business, or related field. (Preferred)
  • 7 Years exempt-level HR experience (Required)
  • 3 Years supervision experience (Required)
  • Multi-site, multi-state responsibility (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License

Requirements

  • Regular travel to facilities with occasional overnight travel.
  • In-office/ on-site 3 days per week.
  • Respond to calls and texts outside of working hours to support 24/7 operations.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Results and action orientated with data-driven decision-making.
  • Coaching, developing, and getting results through others.
