Join our team as a Human Resources Supervisor with the Division of Personnel Management for the State of Wisconsin. This position will lead a team of Human Resources (HR) staff responsible for staffing activities for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Department of Revenue (DOR).
This position is located at the Wisconsin Revenue Building, situated conveniently off the Beltline just five minutes from Downtown Madison. We offer an excellent work life balance and a team-oriented atmosphere. This includes the flexibility of a hybrid office remote work schedule with the option to work remotely up to 4 days per week. This schedule may vary based on training or operational need.

The position is responsible for providing expertise and leadership in the management and coordination of recruitments and position vacancies and continuous communication with HR management and Agency-leadership on status of vacancies and initiatives. Major goals of this position include supervising a team of HR staff performing recruitment and staffing activities, providing supervisory and staff training, coordinating position classification/job titling, compensation, staffing, and implementing HR procedures for DVA and DOR.
This position will serve as a liaison to the HR Supervisors located at the two DVA Veteran Homes, employment relations staff, medical coordinators, equity and inclusion specialists and the payroll unit.
The starting pay is between $40.00 - $43.36 (approximately between $83,200 and $90,100 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. The position is in pay schedule and range 81-03.
Pay for current or former state employees is based on the provisions of the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan for the applicable transaction.
