About the Role

Reporting to the VP of North American Sales, the Manger of the Inside Sales Team manages the team and all sales activities of the Inside Sales Team. This role will also provide input on market development, setting targets and revenue generation for the Inside Sales organization. You will also assist in the development of the sales incentive plan design for the ISRs an work closely with sales leadership to develop, implement and execute sale strategies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Hire and develop a team of experienced Inside Sales Representatives for this newly created department within our organization
  • Manage and develop a world class Inside Sales Organization strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives and drives revenue growth.
  • Makes recommendations for establishing quotas, number of daily outgoing telephone sales calls, customer visits, and other sales performance criteria as required.
  • Works with the sales leadership team to design, implement, and monitor appropriate sales strategies and tactics to achieve objectives.
  • Monitors performance to quotas, daily telephone calls, appointments, and other sales performance criteria to ensure inside sales representatives are meeting their goals.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the inside sales team, including pipeline and forecast management, opportunity tracking, and quota attainment.
  • Makes direct sales calls with customers and partners as needed to provide sales coverage beyond what is available with the current sales staff.
  • Attract, empower, retain, and develop the talent we need to accomplish the above.


Experience you need to have:

  • 5 years’ experience effectively managing others in an inside sales environment
  • Experience selling through channels is a plus
  • Proven successful ability to coach and develop all sales competencies
  • Ability to identify appropriate sales strategies and execute a sales plan
  • Strong communication and change management skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong data analytics skillset and proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce preferred

Salary range: OTE of $135,000 - $150,00 on a 70/30 split of base commissions
