Compensation: $45 – 55k/yr

Spark Dental Management is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the team at our headquarters in Nashville, TN. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting IT operations across our extensive network of clinics and surgery centers.

You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless technology integration and provide technical assistance to our offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Location: This position offers the opportunity to work in a mostly remote environment, with periodic commutes to our Tennessee dental offices for project work.

What You Will Do

• Maintaining IT Equipment Inventory including scheduling repairs, tracking devices, and ensuring sufficient supply
• Employee onboarding / off-boarding
• Utilizing central management platforms to plan for equipment repair and refresh
• Assisting IT management with ongoing projects and maintenance needs
• Assisting in routine IT scheduled tasks and reporting needs
• Interfacing with our different vendors (IT / Voice / Cabling / Print) to support projects or solve problems
• Continue the buildout of documentation on the IT environment and various operational processes
• Monitor and manage our Managed Service Provider’s support queue and escalate when additional attention is needed
• Assist Managed Service Provider in the resolution of certain support requests
• Provide general IT support to employees working in corporate office and in clinics
• Oversee and participate in the setup of new locations
• Be diligent in protecting PHI as it relates to HIPAA Standards in IT
• Interfacing directly with the end-users for training, support, and guidance in all things IT
• Ability to research new equipment as business need dictates
• Ability to research new / upgraded software features as business need dictates.
• Support the current telephone initiative of company-wide migration to RingCentral.

What You Will Need

• Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• 2 Years of progressive experience in tech support
• Technical knowledge and experience with Windows OS,Windows Server tools, anti-virus, patching, and O365 Suite.
• Experience supporting medical or dental software is preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel to clinics and surgery centers as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• The ability to physically lift Servers, UPS batteries, switches, and other IT equipment.
• The ability to climb ladder as needed.
• RingCentral administration and troubleshooting.
