Snapsheet is Hiring a People Operations Coordinator Near Chicago, IL

We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our team!

You have experience with HRIS systems, running reports, and are excel savvy. You like to tackle issues that arise and thrive in an ever-changing environment. As a People Operations Coordinator, you are well organized, have an eye for detail, and know how to keep employee information confidential. You are a self-starter with a keen ability to prioritize tasks. If this sounds like you, keep reading!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the employee life cycle by owning processes and practices around onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, and more through our HRIS
  • Manage the day-to-day data entry of all transfers, promotions, and salary changes into the HRIS
  • Ensure data accuracy by conducting data audits
  • Create and run various reports as needed for HR and other departments
  • Oversee the payroll process for timecards, benefits, paid time off, and leave management
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for employee questions/concerns about HR topics such as benefits, payroll, company policies, time off, etc.
  • Ensures that records, files, and electronic tracking systems are maintained accurately to ensure compliance according to company and regular policies/procedures
  • Compile and prepare routine compliance and ad hoc reports using excel and other applications
  • Make sure labor law notifications are up to date and posted in accordance with employment laws
  • Run our anniversary program and engagement initiatives

Success Metrics:

  • Data integrity in HRIS
  • Trusted advisor for employees and managers
  • Minimal errors in data, reflecting strong attention to detail
  • Independently pull reports and analyze data

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in the HR field 
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Self-starter who had an innate aptitude for problem solving
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
