We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental office team. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and have a positive experience during their visit. ```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix scheduling systems
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance claims
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling
- Assist with managing inventory of office supplies and ordering as needed
```Requirements```
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical receptionist role preferred
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic computer skills
