This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Chicago, Illinois area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.Key responsibilities- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Fullfill full-cycle A/P- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling- Provide support to internal business partners- Execute additional tasks as needed
