Duties and Responsibilities:
· Uphold company standards in carrier contracts, safety ratings, insurance certificates, and regulatory compliance.
· Collaborate with Operations, carriers, and the AVP of Logistics in finalizing transportation agreements and addressing compliance issues.
· Regularly validate and monitor motor carriers documentation to ensure compliance.
· Analyze carrier information, maintaining adherence to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
· Maintain accurate motor carrier files and implement a compliance alert system.
· Keep the carrier information in the TMS system up to date.
· Support LTL billing processes, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
· Be adaptable to changing duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or higher.
· Previous experience in a professional office setting.
· Industry experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
· Experience with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
· Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and other relevant federal regulations in the transportation industry.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to manage time-sensitive projects and maintain flexibility in work assignments.
