RemX is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Washington, DC
RemX by Employbridge has partnered with my law firm client to assist them with their search for Commercial Litigation Paralegal. This position will support attorneys in multiple areas including Healthcare, Employment and IP & Technology litigation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 (ten) years of experience in litigation gained from a law firm, excellent job longevity and great references. Below are additional highlights regarding the opportunity:
- Gather, organize, and produce documents in response to various discovery requests.
- Analyze and maintain factual information in centralized repositories.
- Prepare pleadings, discovery materials, and responses under attorney supervision.
- File and e-file pleadings in federal, state, and appellate courts.
- Manage court filing deadlines and scheduling orders.
- Conduct and summarize legal research as directed.
- Draft and coordinate service of subpoenas in state and federal courts.
- Attend trials, hearings, and depositions, both in-state and out-of-state.
- Prepare trial exhibits and coordinate trial logistics, including courtroom technology.
- Maintain litigation calendars and files, both electronic and physical.
- Provide case management support, including monitoring case calendars and filing deadlines.
- Experience with legal software such as Relativity, CaseMap, TextMap, Trial Director, Summation, and Concordance/ iPro is advantageous.
