Levi & Korsinsky LLP, a national firm, is seeking a litigation associate with at least 4 years’ experience to work on cutting-edge plaintiff’s consumer class action litigation and mass arbitrations. Our 70 member firm represents plaintiffs in sophisticated securities consumer matters throughout the country. We are seeking to expand our consumer practice group and are looking for someone with exemplary writing and research. If we hire you, you will be working closely with senior level attorneys and you will be expected to help our clients level the playing field against businesses who try to take advantage of them. 

You will have the opportunity to take on substantial responsibility and play an important role in the cases you work on. Strong legal writing is required, and Law Review or Journal experience is a plus. Appellate writing experience is highly desirable. If you have a background in journalism or other writing-related work, that is also a plus.

The Job:

· Working with lawyers and analysts to bring cases on behalf of various classes of aggrieved consumers.

· Drafting comprehensive complaints, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and demand letters. 

· Researching legal statutes and working closely with the team to develop case theory. 

· Offering substantive input on litigation strategies and the strength of claims.

· Drafting appellate briefs. 

Qualifications:

· At least four years’ experience at a law firm, with big-law experience preferred.

· Exceptionally strong writing skills and ability to produce well-written first drafts with minimal oversight.

· Creativity.

· Love of taking a deep dive into a case and its facts.

· Excellent attention to detail.
