In partnership with public safety, RapidSOS created the world’s first intelligent safety platform that securely links life-saving data from 500 million connected devices, apps and sensors and 100 technology partners directly to RapidSOS Safety Agents, 911, and first responders globally. What this role is about: As a Business Development & Partnership Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the satisfaction and sustained success of our key partners. Your primary focus will be cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring our customers and RapidSOS derive maximum value from our relationships. In this role, you will drive seamless cross-functional processes with our Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Public Safety teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences across the customer journey from pre-sales, onboarding, and day to day operations of the account(s). You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working on strategic challenges and consistently providing a delightful customer experience as a trusted advisor. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Cultivate strong partnerships and relationships with our clients through proactive engagement, understanding and quantifying their goals, and serving as their primary liaison for addressing inquiries, issues, or escalations 
  • Advocate for the customer to internal stakeholders; share customer feedback and insights with other internal teams within RapidSOS, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to maintain progress and timelines for implementations
  • Drive the expansion and growth of accounts by promoting usage, and adoption while identifying opportunities for additional functionality and integration
  • Plan and lead regularly occurring business reviews, including strategies, roadmaps, and relevant industry best practices to help meet customer growth objectives
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive proactive customer engagement and successful outcomes
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth, revenue, and brand awareness by attending relevant industry events, networking, and collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies that enables RapidSOS’s goals
  • Identify opportunities and share best practices for our Sales organization to have more scalable, repeatable, and automated processes

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: 

  • 5-7 years of account management, customer success, and/or partnership management experience with managing enterprise accounts
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and toggling between strategic and detail modes seamlessly
  • Empathetic and customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to quickly learn complex products or services, understand the underlying drivers and strategy of our client’s business to conduct relationship and customer mapping, and creatively solve problems 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders across all levels
  • Self starter; willingness to both work collaboratively and tackle things on your own with a results-driven mindset
  • An understanding and flexibility in working in a high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25-30%

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $127,500 - $150,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options and bonus. #LI-Remote
