SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Event Operations Manager will assist in the set-up and execution of all events and private dining for Quince & Co, which includes our restaurants Quince and Cotogna as well as our event spaces.

This roll will report directly to the Events Director and will work extensively with the General Managers, Chefs and Ownership to ensure that all events are executed to the requisite company standards and that the restaurants’ private dining departments operate in accordance with their established budgetary and hospitality goals.

This role is also responsible for the continued development of sales programs and business development activities, and lead generation to drive revenue and profitability for the department. Candidate must have a proven managerial track record and the ability to communicate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with pre-event planning, event logistics and event execution. It is paramount that all candidates possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a highly organized and efficient manner with an obsessive attention to detail. Applicants should exhibit dynamic leadership qualities, a well-developed business acumen, excellent communication skills and a hospitable nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

DEPARTMENTAL:

• Fostering a healthy relationship between the events department and all existing departments within the organization.
• Building a strong relationship with vendors.
• Overseeing operational planning for offsite events.
• Instilling our company culture and excellence to in all events.

SERVICE:

• Possessing the ability to carry on any role in service and maintaining a strong connection to service by supporting the floor.
• Working with all managers and chefs on an ongoing basis to ensure successful events.
• Provide support while also having the ability to delegate and empower an entrepreneurial mindset within the team.
• Scheduling for events and working with the accounting team on payroll.
• Running line-ups and leading and developing the events service program.

SYSTEMS:

• Attending weekly BEO meetings to discuss operational needs.
• Overseeing Events Assistant on menu printing and floorplan creation.
• Creating SOPs for different event formats
• Utilize TripleSeat as a primary tool for client communication regarding private dining and events.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• This role requires the ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards.
