Role Summary

We're looking for a dynamic person as contract Human Resources Generalist to serve our clients locally in Tennessee and nationally who need HR and People Operations services. Ideal candidates possess self-discipline, strong intellectual curiosity with the propensity to learn, and tendencies toward thinking through creative and data-driven solutions. We deal with people at their best and worst, so emotional intelligence is also a must!

The role can be described as 65% - 85% remote work, only having to visit local client offices a few times a week. The HR Contractor reports work directly to the COO and CEO and will collaborate with the internal team. Your work will be critical in assisting in developing the internal organization of Poprouser and serving the needs of clients demanding HR and People Operations services.

NOTE: This is a contract (and potentially contract-to-hire) role.

Responsibilities & Impact Areas

• Seek HR administrative process improvement continuously while working with clients
• Create HR performance indicators and HR metrics as needed
• Execute the following HR software systems: Payroll, ATS, HRIS, Assessments, Project Management, Performance Management, Reporting
• Generate HR budgets and client compensation plans
• Partner with clients as needed/required to provide strategic HR guidance to management
• Work closely with clients to improve workplace culture, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
• Execute and document talent acquisition and HR processes for clients, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and terminating employees
• Audit client HR systems, workplace environment, and work processes and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and coordinate changes regarding clients' HR workflows

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• 3 years of high-performance results-oriented HR generalist, HR business partner, or independent consultant experience
• Experience in HRIS management across several systems, recruiting, employee relations and training, and workplace safety management or auditing
• Understanding of HR data and accounting is desired
• Strong technical proficiency in collaborative tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack
• Proficient in investigating, negotiating, and resolving grievances and conflicts, preferably in a multicultural, diverse environment
• HR certifications are a BIG plus
