The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources function to include, but not limited to, recruitment and retention of staff, benefits administration, orientation of staff, worker's compensation, and policy administration. This position is focused on primarily transactional activities and assists with data entry and online employee license verification. Provides customer service to employee and manager needs. The Human Resources Assistant must have very strong organizational skills, the ability to keep employee information confidential, and have strong computer skills.
Job Function
- Assist with payroll processing, including data collection and input
- Provide administrative support for HR programs and initiatives
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Coordinate training programs and maintain training records
- Support talent management initiatives, including performance management and succession planning
- Assist with strategic planning for HR department goals and objectives
- Utilize HR software systems such as Salesforce, Taleo, and Kronos
