Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is Hiring a Human Resources Business Partner Near Nashville, TN

Our Nashville region is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner! The HRBP will serve as a generalist functioning within the Tennessee region within our Human Resources (HR) department. We are looking for an experienced individual who can efficiently plan, coordinate and direct the administrative functions of the firm within this region.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as admin for HR Systems within their division of the company.
  • Handle bi-weekly payroll, including but not limited to: retro pay, prorating, etc.
  • Would with Talent Acquisition team on offers, performing background checks, onboard employees and more.
  • Administer benefits offered: medical/dental/vision, FSA, 401K, PTO, FMLA, STD, LTD, worker’s compensation.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy constructive, and when needed properly offboard people. May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Serve as culture liaison; planning local events and charity functions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
