The Opportunity

Pillar4 Media is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join its fast-growing team.

As a member of the People team, you’ll work closely with hiring managers and other team members to support our fast-growing company. You will get first-hand experience in Human Resources as well and have the opportunity to grow your career in Talent (HR).

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the HR Assistant will:

• Provide administrative support to the Talent & Senior Leadership team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires are logistically onboarded successfully providing a positive teammate experience, i.e. corresponding with new hires, ordering equipment, and updating new hire onboarding documents
• Co-facilitate new hire orientation to ensure teammate's first day is informative and a seamless transition
• Assist with special projects, reports, activities, and more as assigned
• Coordinate and facilitate onsite teammate activations and events
• Serve as the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests
• Provide front-desk coverage by greeting guests as they enter the office, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment
• Plan, organize, and schedule company meetings in the office, off-site, and via video conference if needed
• Work in both Office and Google Suite products, i.e. Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc

What You Bring

• 1-2 years of work experience
• Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience required with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and softwares
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Forward-thinking in anticipating needs
• Must be able to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to remain flexible and respond quickly to changing priorities
• Self-motivated and takes initiative

The Package
