PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Develop and maintain agency-wide HR department.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review existing HR policies and practices.

• Work with Executive Director and Associate Executive Director on identified projects.

• Work with Business Office Supervisor regarding claims and benefits administration.

• Write and update job descriptions.

• Post job ads, set up fingerprint appointments and manage toxicology screens.

• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes and conducting interviews.

• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

• Manage performance evaluation processes to ensure fair and objective assessments.

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

• Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Assess all program sites to assess potential workers compensation issues/safety issues with report to Associate Executive Director.

• Responsible for HR orientation for all new staff.

• Monitor and update Personnel P &P in accordance with Employment Law.

• Collaborate with Directors and Supervisors regarding personnel concerns and investigations.

• Travel to all program sites and represent HR department aimed at increasing visibility and communication.

• Conduct exit interviews.
