Housecalls Home Care is Hiring a CDPAP Human Resources Specialist Near Bronx, NY

At HouseCalls Home Care, our mission is to provide superior, compassionate home care workers and healthcare services for elderly and differently abled individuals in the comfort and dignity of their homes. We work closely with hospitals, physicians, and private caregivers for hire to develop and coordinate individual care plans, all while upholding our clients' independence at home.

We are in search of an experienced HR expert prepared for an engaging position within the home care sector. As a leading in-home care provider, we are eagerly looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a CDPAP Human Resources Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment cycle, from hiring to onboarding of the caregivers.
  • Overview and enforce caregiver compliance.
  • Lead orientations and training sessions for newcomers.
  • Address caregiver concerns, ensuring smooth employee relations.
  • Adhere to and enforce HR regulations at all governmental levels.
  • Assist in caregiver payroll and benefits tasks.
  • Craft, roll out, and assess HR guidelines specifically for the CDPAP agenda.
  • Supervise caregiver performance, giving constructive feedback and spearheading development strategies.
  • Keep thorough employee documentation, focusing on CDPAP-related paperwork.
  • Serve as a bridge between caregivers, clients, and higher-ups, sorting out any challenges.
  • Present frequent updates to leadership about HR trends, caregiver insights, and emergent issues.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, or related fields is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of HR experience, ideally in a CDPAP setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish are required.
