Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Administrative Assistant duties.
As an Administrative Assistant, the incumbent serves as the administrative assistant to the Office of Enforcement (OE), to include supporting the Office Director and Deputy Director.
Serves as the principal responder to administrative requests made to the office. Provides direct support of the Office Director and Deputy Director for requested meetings, communications, presentations, and analysis.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT IN A VARIETY OF AREAS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TIME AND ATTENDANCE REPORTING, TRAVEL, AND EXPERIENCE WITH COMPUTER-BASED APPLICATIONS, SUCH AS MICROSOFT OFFICE (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, POWERPOINT ETC.).
2. DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO WORK EFFICIENTLY IN HANDLING MULTIPLE ASSIGNMENTS WITH COMPETING PRIORITIES, OFTEN UNDER CONSIDERABLE PRESSURE TO MEET DEADLINES.
3. WRITES IN A CLEAR, CONCISE, ORGANIZED AND CONVINCING MANNER FOR THE INTENDED AUDIENCE.KNOWLEDGE OF PROPER GRAMMAR, SPELLING, AND PUNCTUATION, AND CORRESPONDENCE PROCEDURES SUFFICIENT TO PREPARE AND REVIEW OUTGOING MATERIAL FOR CORRECTNESS, PROPER FORMAT, AND COMPLETENESS.
4. DEMONSTRATEDABILITY TO DEAL TACTFULLY, EFFICIENTLY AND PROFESSIONALLY WITH ALL LEVELS OF PERSONNELL, AND TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITHIN A TEAM OR INDEPENDENTLY.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Specialized experience for this grade is the use of office automation systems to produce documents and perform a variety of office automation functions such as time and attendance reporting, action item tracking, travel document preparation and retrieval, and calendar maintenance.

Specialized experience for this grade is providing guidance of office automation systems to produce documents and perform a variety of office automation functions such as time and attendance reporting, action item tracking, travel document preparation and retrieval, and calendar maintenance. Additionally, provides leadership and guidance in coordinating office-wide administrative activities and initiatives, along with implementing new and existing agency-wide administrative processes.

Additional information
The duty location of this position is Rockville, MD . In general, employees are expected to be in the office at a minimum of 4 days per pay period .Telework schedules, including full-time telework, are approved, on a case-by-case basis. If selected, telework will be determined in accordance with Agency policy and the Collective Bargaining Agreement, if applicable.
