This position is responsible for performing the accounting for center operations and general and administrative departments of the Company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounting in a high-volume multi-site accounting setting, perform monthly accounting close processes including preparing and reviewing journal entries, maintaining and preparing close schedules such as fixed assets, prepaids, etc.
• Produce detailed analysis and reports in a timely manner as requested by management.
• Review accounting structure for opportunities to gain operational efficiencies.
• Document internal procedures and accounting controls.
• Reconcile bank and merchant accounts, assist with ACH initiation, positive pay and banking functions as needed.
• Assist with special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting functions and financial statement reporting is preferable.
• Team player with strong collaboration and cooperation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in high volume multi-site accounting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Highly proficient in MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint and should be highly proficient with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, formulas, and spreadsheet applications.
• Proven expertise with Financial Accounting Software packages is highly desirable. Prior experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and data flow.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
