Summary

The position will provide support as needed to various accounting functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Bank Reconciliations
• Maintain fixed assets and review for accuracies
• Create pre-paid and accrual entries
• Perform account reconciliations
• Maintain balance sheet schedules daily/monthly
• Provide support for inquiries from service/sales
• Sales Tax Compliance
• 1099 Preparation
• Personal Property Tax Renditions
• Assist with parts inventories and other projects at the shops as needed
• Periodically assist on special projects and other tasks
• Assist with other functional areas as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
• Sales Tax knowledge
• Staff Accountant experience required
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and Word
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner
• Self motivated, driven individual
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and flexibility for overtime during busy periods
• Some travel may be required

• BBA in Accounting or similar degree
• Previous staff accountant experience
