Summary

The Staff Accountant will conduct general ledger account and bank account reconciliations, make journal entries, and help prepare financial reports, budgets, and other accounting and financial activities for the USA region of G&A Partners.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.• Reconcile bank statements.• Make journal entries.• Prepare and review budgets and track variances with actual.• Assist with cost analysis of service items.• Assist Accounting Manager and Controller with special projects.• Prepare and maintain documentation to support internal and external audit requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting and 1 – 2 years of public or corporate accounting experience.• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within accounting.• Experience with bank cash and treasury systems.• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.• Excellent people, customer service and organizational skills.• Extremely detail oriented and focused on completion and follow up.• Strong collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.• Skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.• Ability to multi-task and take on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
