Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven, commission-based Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our magazine to potential advertisers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, has a passion for sales, and thrives in a target-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential advertisers and their needs
- Generate leads and cold call prospective clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Present, promote, and sell both traditional print advertising as well as integrated sales with digital and experiential programming to clients
- Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to improve sales strategies
- Collaborate with the publishing team to develop effective sales techniques and materials
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or a related field
- Strong ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in outside sales and account management is preferred
- Strong business development skills
