National Equipment & Service Corporation is Hiring an Account Manager Near Irvine, CA

National Equipment & Service, a leading provider in the Southwest Region, is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our team in Irvine, CA. This role involves managing and developing assigned accounts across various counties, including Orange, LA, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego. The successful candidate will work closely with our Sales team to onboard new accounts and grow them by suggesting services and preventative maintenance. This role requires excellent customer service skills, consistent communication, and the ability to manage all aspects of the accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day account activities, including creating estimates, scheduling service calls, and following up on large projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Communicate job progress and initiatives to all stakeholders regularly and clearly.
  • Perform on-site evaluations and walkthroughs with customers.
  • Ensure timely and successful execution of service, according to customer needs.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement.
  • Oversee all jobs relating to assigned accounts, ensuring they are performed accurately, on time, and according to the customer’s specific requirements.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results).
  • Prepare reports on account status and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Assist with all client requests or escalations as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executives and C-levels.
  • Experience with Mac and Apple equipment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot) and MS Office or Apple equivalent (particularly MS Excel/Numbers).
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 with eligibility for additional uncapped bonuses related to Sales performance.
