The Modern Classrooms Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers educators to build classrooms that respond to every student’s needs. Founded in 2018 by two award-winning teachers, we lead a movement of educators in implementing a self-paced, mastery-based instructional model that leverages technology to foster human connection, authentic learning, and social-emotional growth.
To date, we have reached over 45,000 teachers through our free online course and 6,000 teachers through our Virtual Mentorship Program from over 100 school, district, and state partners. We are an ambitious, idealistic team of 22 full-time staff and we are passionate about what we do.
As our first HR Manager, you will play an important role in making sure that MCP continues to attract and retain talent. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of MCP’s various human resources functions, including onboarding and offboarding, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) administration, benefits, wellness and recognition programs, policies and procedures, and compliance with applicable state and federal labor laws.
