Lumina Vision Partners is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Phoenix, AZ

Job Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and employee engagement and retention.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Leads recruitment efforts by developing job ads and representing the company at job fairs/recruiting events.
    • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
    • Conduct new employee orientations, and ensure employees are well informed of policies and programs.
    • Participate in and provide analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, equal opportunity updates and company policies.
  • General HR
    • Partner with employees and managers to respond to all questions and needs in a timely manner.
    • Address employee relations issues fairly and timely, including conducting investigations and maintaining appropriate documentation.
    • Ensure compliant workplace policies and practices.
    • Support talent practices (goal management, performance development, employee engagement & voice, rewards & recognition) that support employee growth and retention.
    • Build positive relationships with employees and serve as a trusted partner to the practices and administrative leaders across the organization.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business or other applicable field preferred
  • PHR, SHRM-CP other HR-related certifications a plus
  • 3 years of HR experience
  • Experience in recruiting, employee relations, policies & procedures, and employee engagement.
  • Knowledge of DOL and labor law compliance (FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability in using MS Office
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
