**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in food handling, kitchen management, and food service. If you have a background in restaurant, banquet, or catering environments, we encourage you to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menus and develop new recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train kitchen staff and supervise their work
- Collaborate with the Chef Owner to meet special dietary needs
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience working as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Certification from a culinary school or apprenticeship is a plus
